New Car *pics*

thats how much they run around here though, they run pretty high. we have one of the best auto auctions around http://www.twaa.com . i mean **** if i can sell a v6 camaro for almost $5k, then i think i can sell this for around $6k. trust me on the drug dealers tho, they come flocking to these cars, and if worst comes to worst i can throw it in for $4400 and sell it even faster.

It's just me, but I wouldn't touch that for even $2,000 with that many miles.
mileage is just a number IF the previous owners took care of it (followed scheduled maintenance like oil changes, etc) and what kind of miles they are (city driving or highway driving)

case and point: my moms 95 lumina had 190k i think when she bought it, was taken care of and all those miles were highway miles, it ran like a ***** ape (lol), couldnt even feel the engine run or anything, original motor had around 250k before my mom blew it up (ignorance of water pump...), has original ***** that is just now starting to show signs of wear (at 278k)....

It may run fine, but your resale value on anything with over 150K'ish drops DRAMATICALLY, especially something that old. Check www.kbb.com.

exactly, it was one owner, and there is little if NO wear or tear on the interior, which hints to me that it was taken wellll care of by the owner. the motor starts right up too, runs and idles smooth.

lolol i know. but my theory is, let me place it at $6000, but give them a lil room to talk me down. if i sell it for $5000, i still make $600, but **** i know i can get more for it. i know it was a white guys car cuz there was a 1930s jazz big band tape in the tape deck lol.

but there are 94 and 95s with lower miles selling for 9k and 10k. thing is, if i put it too low, people might not bother because theyll think its a pos. if it had about 100k less miles, i could probably get about $9k for it, around here at least.

if the a/c needs to be charged...it needs to be fixed aswell.

Detail THE SHIT out of it. Buff/polish (Turtle Wax Polishing compound 2.00 at Walmart) and then wax even underneath the hood. Use Westleys Bleche Wite on all of the rubber engine hoses, door trim, seals etc, then hit them with a coat of armor all. Spray the carpet with a cleaner, vaccuum everything, take the seats out if nessecary. Take a stiff bristle brush to the carpet and floormats. Use a nice leather conditioner on the seats.

Change and top off all of the fluids that need it. Clean up after any leaks in the engine bay. Use the Turtle Wax Polishing compound to brighten up any aluminum parts that have tarnished.

If the auto ****** is shifting questionable, buy some GM Differential "Quieter" or some seafoam ****** stuff, and check the fluid. A ****** fluid change can make a pretty big diff too.

Good luck selling it man, I think you can pull it off... German cars run forever.

Also, take the polishing compound to the windows. Put a little bit on a damp rag and rub hard, then let it dry and buff it off. Then next few hours buff again. Gets the glass **** clean.

agreed. It's all about how you present the car. Spend $30 on things to clean it up and make it look it's best and you'll have a much better chance of selling it. And the thing about cleaning it is, most people already own the stuff to clean it so you won't even have to spend the $30.... Just take the time. It makes a huge difference.
