new car... new speakers

Today I just got my 2004 grand prix gtp. I love the car.... I have speakers and stuff I plan to reuse but with my subs I don't know if I want to have 2 12's anymore just to cut back on some weight or at least for an excuse to get a better sub. Right now I have 2 12in polks that run at 400 watts each. I was thinking about going for 1 12in that runs at 800 watts 2ohm. Any suggestions appreciated.

I guess it would be nice to know what my style is.... I listen mostly to rock and I would like SQ....Also though I have another amp that could run 500 at two ohm if you have a recommendation for a lower power sub.
