my buddy has a f-150 were going to do a cut out..about 5 cubes to work with and would like to keep the amp/subs under 700$...looking for sql.. prob 2 12s ?and under 2000rms

I don't know the shape the truck is in, but with that budget, I would suggest a good solid 1000 watt amp and a good 12" ported behind the seat, for SQL....Something like the AQ 1200D or a SAZ 1000 and a 12" ICON, or DC LVL 4 and DC 1.2k. in a good sized box tuned to 32-35hz

This would pay for its self in the resale value of the truck down the road vs a blow through

oh, well sho nuff then...you ought to get with someone like @Buck and talk some box designs and power...then u can decide what subs to buy based on what fits your design.

2 sa12s or Obsidian 12s and 1200-1500 watts is easily doable with that budget.

do one 15 and this is a retarded deal never see these under 400 bucks i would jump on it

will get louder than the sa's and will save you money to afford a nicer amp than the mb quart

i have seent hese subs take 200o plus watts and laugh it weighs 50 plus pounds

It's a good deal but not that amazing...It's identical to the AQ HDC3 which costs like $280 from AQ HDC315 Copper Coil Subwoofer
