and possibly 1 of these for 2 8" subs. it says 70w but it has 4 terminals for 2 speakers. does that mean it is 70wx2? and can ths be bridged? noob with those kind of amps

http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&Partnumber=300-784

total without the amp comes to around 190 shipped?

does that sound good?

Please leave a comment or make a suggestion if needed.

The QTS of those goldwoods (both the 5 inch and 6 inch) is way too high for a vented alignment. I would definately go sealed if you are set on those woofers....

Everything else doesn't look bad, the plate amp does 70 watts for ONE channel, those terminals that you see are high level inputs, like an LOC for car audio applications if you will...

ahhhhh.

thanks.

i was only thinking cause it looked like it had a left and right highlevel input and then the output terminals also had left and right. idk maybe i was looking at it wrong.

hmmm

so what do you think would be the optimal sealed enclosure for them then?

im a noob at box building.

For the 6.5s a 1 cubic foot enclosure would yield a QTC of 1.0 and an F3 (or where it rolls off) of 53hz. You can go a bit smaller and stuff if you'd like...

The 5 1/4s you can do .5 cubic feet a piece, so 1 for both with an F3 of around 64hz.

Experiment with stuffing for both....
