well after i finished it and looked at the pics i realized it looks like complete shit.

having said this, when i get my sub tomorrow or the day after and hook it up, if i dont like the way it sounds, im selling everything and gettting out of car audio.

box is 2 cubic feet 38hz with 35^2 inches of port i think...its for a Mach5 Spl12

**** man, give it a good listen for a while before you decide to jump outta the audio game. It doesn't look bad, you can always work on asthetics as time goes on.

Sellin off audio does make for a good bike downpayment fund though...too many hobbies in the world eh

i hope not, i really enjoy it, but it just seems like something ALWAYS needs tweeking or doesnt sound right or i did this or that wrong...its getting to be more work then fun for me :/

im going to end up just mounting the amp to the box and moving the box down and trying it out...if i dont like it though i WILL be selling it. im not building another box.

Meh I think you're just tired and angry it didn't come out as well as you thought it would. But don't jump out after just one not so great box. I'm sure you'll get up the energy to redo it eventually if you can't stand it enough.

well see.

the most logical thing is a quick fix, which is just moutning the amp to the box and moving it down. but if the sub doensnt like being in a box tuned to 38 im not gonna build another one, not to mention my dads getting tired of me using his tools for w/e reason.
