I used these plans for my Brahma. I started making the box and I cut the top peice @ 32" where it didnt cover the port becuase I wasnt sure if i should cut it short and not cover the port or just cut a rectangle in the wood to cover the port. And I cut it @ 32". So The top peice with the sub and port is on top of the wood.So therefor the sub sits higher than the port not flush. So should I cut a peice than fits in nice and snug over the port or will the .75 of a inch make a huge difference in tuning.I have only small scraps after a 4x8 sheet so if i have to cut the whole top again i will ahve to buy a new piece. can i just cut the lil piece out from scrap and be ok? here is box plans for better explanaion.
Thick black line is the peice I cut, the thin black line is where its 3/4 of a inch shorter, and i need to cut a peice to fit if that will help. here are the rest of the plans for kicks.
