i really dont like the way that the box looks. i think i would have wanted to see excursion rather than the magnet and stuff.

How were you not able to make it flush?..From where I'm sittin it doesnt look too difficult.
and x2 on the port placement. Why not have it span the entire length of the bottom and be about 1-2" tall?

the only piece of wood we had left was that wide. I didnt really want to go buy another sheet of MDF.

As for the port comment, I liked the way this looks a little better. I didn't design the box plans, I really like the way it looks though

The way the port is situated... you should have at least put it against one side. Or put the sub on the side of the enclosure...

that's funny...I actually made a thread about that last night. I figured the sub wouldn't be firing over the port opening because that's off to the right a little. Why does it make a difference? Everything sounds fine to me.

I dunno if you actually think it's a piece of shit or not, but you still haven't really answered my question. Since the woofer isn't firing directly into the port, what is the problem with where it is?

I chose where to put the port and woofer, not the designer.
