I Like Teh Boom
Well, after about 6 hours we (sorta) finished her. We still have to bondo and sand all the gaps, as well as over the screws. We also have to take a router to the port and sand a bunch of different edges. I don't know if I'm going to carpet it or wrap it with something else; I'll decide that later.
The box is 2.5 cu ft (remember, there is no woofer displacement) tuned to 36 Hz with 50 sq. in. of port area. Let me just say, this box absolutely looks sick, and the sub sounds awesome.
Like the guys at Superior Sounds said, this sub gets stupid low. At 25-30Hz, it is honestly louder than my 2 old XXX 12"s. It covers all the frequencies very well and sounds great.

My trunk is real messy. Can you find the subwoofer box?
Oh yes, it is intimidating...
A peek inside...
A looksie inside the port
A computer view of what the port looks like
If you have any ?'s, let me know
P.S. The reason there is that gap at the front is because we decided to double baffle the top to allow more room for excursion and to ensure that the woofer would stay standing. Once we fill that with bondo and sand it'll look real nice.
