New battery, new grounds...voltage is always 14.4-14.5...lights still dim on bass?O.O

Ok, so I replaced my stock neg grounds with 0 gauge, got a new big daddy 75 AMP\HR 850CC (1000 CA) battery, now my voltage is always at about 14.4-14.5 (it was only at 14.1 with the stock battery). Now whenever say the bass notes hit and it drops from 14.5, to 14.4, my dash lights dim...very annoying, I have plenty of power, it's being recharged plenty fast as I know it's not easy to maintain a 14.4+ charge as that's amps peak power voltage which a lot of people don't hang at, but why the heck is my car dimming with even the slightest voltage drop when it's well above where it was stock? It's like ANY voltage draw effects my dash lights, any ideas?

Are you thinking it is at 14.5 because you are reading your dash gauge?

take a dmm and put it on your amps power and ground and I bet u have voltage issues still

My car has an EVIC built in which monitors voltage drops and constant battery voltage, I know before the battery upgrade and ground upgrade it would dip down to 13.6, now it's always at 14.4-5... (much like I used the Scan Gauge II in my last Toyota to monitor it) so what do you recommend? I'm only pushing 750w...the voltage is very steady, in my last Toyota it would hover at about 14.1 down to 13.8 with 1400W of PDX amps with a D31 Optima, the dash lights still didn't dim...that's why I'm confused, I am not getting much, if any voltage drop, but bass notes still dim the dash lights...what would you exactly recommend doing? alt to pos is already 1 gauge...only other thing I could think of is engine block to chasiss, but I have a buddy who has done all three with 0 Gauge and has a new battery and is still having this dash light dimming issue, we have narrowed it down to NOT being an alternator issue as our voltage is always maintained at 14.4-14.5v which is fantastic, so why the lights flickering\dimming?

,Just doing 1 part of the big 3 wont help much as you need to do all 3, but my advice would still be take a dmm and check voltage at your amps not at the battery, cause if your amps are dropping lower so are your dash lights

I agree about only doing part of the big 3. Im not familiar with your specific vehicle, but the problem must lie in the power circuit somewhere. Its likely you are reading a better voltage stability now because the car is measuring it under the hood, while the resistance problem in the power circuit is showing up in the rear of the vehicle where the amp is mounted.

Are stl_314 and I correct in assuming that you only mentioned upgrading one part of the big 3 because that is all you did?
