RE SX, SE, or DD9500 daily?????

Ok, im gonna recone one of above motors into a 15". As of right now I have an AB vfl100.1 (1500@1) to push it, but I would like to get up to 2K. I will have about 4.5-5 cubes after displacement. Which of these would be best for a daily beater if you had your choice.

Id go with the dd personally, just cuz i dont think the other 2 would handle the daily abuse id be able to give the dd.

How do you think the dd will like the lows? Tuning would be 33-35Hz. It's also going to be in the mid gate of an avalanche.

That depends on what soft parts you use...

The 9500's do great on the lows from what I've seen. I also choose the 9500. The SE's and SX's are good too but aren't nearly as beefy as the 9500

I should be getting all 3 motors by this weekend. I'll get some pix up as a comparison. I'll be using a chrome 4 spoke basket for the recone.

Who is building it? Like was said the RE's are nice but not as good as the DD for your application... The SE I dont think will even handle being built for that power...

do the DD in 4.5cubes net, tune 33-35Hz and 16-18^2 port per cube. Should be nice for daily off that power level...

That sound's right at about what I was looking at doing. If all goes well I should have the motors here by this weekend. From there I'll place an order for the recone and do it myself.

built a few like that tuned at 35Hz, got loud and played low. even in the trunk of a Caddy with no fold down seats...

a se and sx have the same motor and can be built to handle 1500rms no problem have done it many times...
