How about 1 Ma Audio hk4000d? 3500+ at 1ohm? maybe? better than the 2 1606d's? and will this electrical hold 1t up?

I used an american bass vfl400.1 on my single 12 and it worked problem free, with 2 kintek 2400s in the rear, stock batt and alt under the hood. Heard Horror stories of the HK4000d being a current hog....

I'll throw out my experience with the old HD's. Current box was around 8.5cubes @ 38Hz for

2 15's. I mostly listen to 80's metal, old school hip/hop & rap, and only play the newer stuff to demo it.

Box did hit the lows, but sounded sort of boomy on some songs, and was definitely more peaky. I extended the port and dropped tuning to 35Hz, so the box is around 8.25cubes now.

WAY better for kick drums when listening to metal, and on new stuff like the Akon/Snoop "I wanna F you" remix it flexes the rear window a good 1/2" or more. Couldn't tell you which tune was louder as I've never had it metered since it's just a DD, but the 35Hz tune is much better for the music I listen to.

For guys wanting to get as loud as possible and mostly playing newer rap, then 38-40Hz is probably right on...

very easy goal to obtain, gonna take box building though...I would say the autotek would be a good choice, american bass vfl200.1, budget amps such as the power acoustik A3000db wouldnt be a bad choice, if you got 2 they do good power on a budget.

Yes its a very easy goal to obtain.....i did 145.6@36hz with a 15R and a PCA2000d Soundstream

main thing is you need to find where your car peaks, play a sinewave at that hz and that should give you a pretty good score, key is you have to see what hz plays loudest in your car hints BOX BUILDING!!

Should be ok for one with a couple runs of 1/0 for power/ground.

HK's are decent amps, just make sure you have power for them.

on the electrical you should be good, go with the kinetik 2400 if you can, the more the better...when you said subs and port/ports forward where you meaning WALLING off the trunk? If not I dont know how subs and ports foward does, I know walling the trunk off works pretty well and a few other things, that I wont discuss openly.
