that i really dunno...i know ppl that have them in boxes tuned in low 30s and everything is fine with KILLER lows..

Yeh but than you lose alot on the upper end....40hz is the reccomended because itll play alot lower than that still keeping up with the higher end.

box is tuned to around 28-30 roughly, didnt know AQ's recommended tuning, but the Fs was 29 so i figured thatd be good. its about an 11 cubic foot box. its for sale, but no body wants this beast, TCAB FTL.

Have you done a comparison between the HD3s and the new HDC3s? Being the fact that the new HDC3 is lower in price makes me think that the wont be as good of a driver like the HD3

no comparo the only person i know of that played with them is jeremiah25. the regualar hd3's are all american and the hdc is chinese which is why the price is differ. I see how they compare soon. As far as qualitity im sure dj will make sure its up to his standards.

they are loud, but have a different sound to them, thats about all I know about them as of right now, seems like the old hd3s were louder on less power, no idea on the new ones power limits yet though.

and i beleive DJ said that the new HDC3 was suppost to be louder and have better SQ then its predicessor
