re audio xxx 12"

I recently bought a 12" re audio xxx subwoofer an let me tell you much bigger then I thought. I'm no expert or nothing but I do know a bit about car audio. My question is what kinda box should I build I have seen many examples of how many cubic ft to port tuning an I'm just wondering if anyone has one of these subs an a enclosure that does it justice. I know my trunk size really decides the box but I was just needing to know a good cubic ft size an freq tuning. There web site recommends 2.2 ft at 34hz for a 12" but its says optimal an I know what these subs are capable of an I'm going for sq here. I heard my buddies but, his is a 15". If you like to know I also purchased from re audio a AX-3200DE amp

New style = sealed, or undersized ported. They want HUGE boxes.

I have sold alot of the new xxx's.If it's the new xxx, then they work great in both sealed and ported enclosures. If going in a trunk then i would say go sealed, Very clean tight bass. They like 1.50cuft, so after sub displacement it's more like 1.25cuft.
