New amp new sub

I just got an old school ppi a404 off ebay for $155 I'll still buy any ones in good shape I can find em though. If anyone knows the answer to this maybe you could help. I'm running a alpine 9853 hu, boston pro 60's up front, a ppi a404 and an image dynamics idq10 for a sub. now the sub is dual 2ohm voice coils.Should I just hook each voice coil to a different channel or bridge the rear channels and wire it up 4 ohm?Also if I bridge the rear channels does that make them mono?

bridge it you dont want a voice coil moving at a different rate as the other one especially when there glued together, and yes
