So about 100,000 miles later my Excessive Amperage finally shat the bed. I'm pretty impressed considering the mileage and abuse I put on it. Totally worth my money.

I left Nathan a couple messages to call me back to help me troubleshoot (wasn't sure it was alt at first). Since I didn't hear from him and I'm impulsive, i ordered one from eBay "Load Boss" brand 200A rated. Seems legit, fit and finish are great, needed just a little grinding to fit in place (This seems common with aftermarket alts for my Jeep).

My only issue is that it seems to really only put out power when you rev up over 1200rpm, but I've stepped down in power and am using amps that aren't going to blow themselves up at random so that's not a huge issue.

Just throwing it out there as another option.

I can only find one HO alt, its a mechman and costs around $600, thats why im capped at 1500w

So im guessing your not running the 4- 15"s seeing how you are running less power now? you build alot of friggin boxes man
