New Alpine Type R's

i wired it to my eclipse 7232d in 2 ohm (rated at 2000w RMS and underrated), and had it turned up as loud as i turn up my eclipse (left all the amp settings the same, the thing ****en hit, you wont believe the excursion with all that power, and the SQ is just amazing, and my alternator is a 120 amp and i got an optima with a 200 amp fuse on it, so it can push my amp pretty well, if i had a digital video camera i would do a woofer excursion vid for you

i also did bass test tones in my house with a 50 watt reciever, and the type R 10" shakes the whole house, and i would have to say it would be one of the best home theater subwoofers i have heard it peforms well on low amounts of wattage,

all im telling you is what i did, im not going to sit here and tell BS stories

This is what I like to see I am about to order 4 10" Type R's with about 500 watts on each oooo weeee!! I like all this talk about how loud they get.

w7's are good SQ subs and they get loud if you use them right. They ARE very ineffeciant, but they DO have a real nice low end @ almost any power in the right box.

Yep, we do sell alpine... but I've been using R's and such since before I even worked @ the shop. Why? because they kick *** and they dont tax u too hard to do it. Even @ retail the subs are friggen amazing.... Retail alpine kicks the shyte out of retail JL, i'll tell you that much right now.
