I may be completely off base here, but it seems that the xbl^2 technology isn't that much more expensive, and it is already well established in the online car audio community. Brand recognition sells.
As to the greater issue here...I think Ology should probably have expected some delays as this is a common issue with creating something new. But, the bottom line is there should have been some more communication from Adire as far as why the delays were happening, in the least. When you promise something and don't come through, people get mad. It doesn't take much to figure that out. Just because one business deal/partner is worth less money than another doesn't mean you can shove them aside. If Adire doesn't have the capacity to handle all of the orders from its licensees, then they need to either gain the capacity to do so, or they need to scale down and only take orders from high margin/ high dollar deals.

I also say this thread should be locked and a new one started along the direct lines of feandils NEW setup and driver. In my all honest opinion It was a loss on both sides. There has been nothing said by either side to reconcile. Ology lost a couple weeks on production, Adire lost thousands of dollars in orders ....
