Flakko: No. More often than not I end up regretting things I've posted on this forum at this time of night. There might come a time when Feandil will not want his posts read and so I did not link to them. I told what was going on in the most politically correct and unbias way I could, along with a personal note done in the same way. If I'm going to make a post on behalf of Feandil or Ology Audio, I'm not going to try and stir anything more than what is necessary to get the point across.

As a dealer of Ology audio products I simply want to tell you what's

been going on and why you should never deal with Adire audio again.

on 10/6/2005 I ordered a fully custom 6.5" with 13mm one way, 93db/w

efficency, 100w RMS, etc (as you know since you're the dealer)

here's the exact email message from dan@adireaudio to me:

that day I called in the order... 13 weeks ago now

his exact words on Oct 1, 2005

"Once the price and spec are accepted, we can build a prototype.

Prototypes take 4-6 weeks to build."

no "it might take 4-6 weeks"... they TAKE 4-6 weeks!!!!

I never even bothered Dan or Adire at all until the 5th week... when I

requested an update via email

on November 12th, 2005 I received an email from Dan after asking for

status and it simply said "we're working on VC's now for testing and it

will be another few weeks (3 weeks)

so I didn't even talk to him about it... till two thursdays ago...being

the exact 11 week mark!!!!!!

he told me this exactly:

"Matthew,

Sorry for the delay, my chief engineer had some personal issues to

resolve and I had to cover his role these last few days. Anyway, I

should have those drivers going out early this coming week."

fine... early last week... sounded ok and forgiveable as he did

apologize for the first time and all!!!

well I call him wednes (MIDDLE of the week) and he says:

"well he's copper plating the motors right now, but it's almost done"

I asked specifically if it would still be shipped out that week (last

week) and he stated yes!!!

come friday took 100 phone calls from 3 different people to get ahold of

him "it'll be shipped out today overnight!" he said!!!!!!!!!!

monday TODAY... no package (should have arrived saturday) no news...

over 200 phone calls today to Adire... no answer.... 4 voicemails and

NO email responses

it's OVER plain and simple... any manufacturer that wants to treat

customers this way will inevitably fail miserably

the lies and all this... and on top of that XBL2 isn't even that

great!!!!!!!! it requires far more mms than underhung... has ridges in

the BL curve and is EXPENSIVE to make!!!!

our prototype will be done FAR better by end of the week early next

week... and ADIRE can take a several hundred thousand dollar order loss

and cry into their pillows

anyone EVER thinking of doing business with adire in any way should

seriously reconsider... not only is dan a complete and total jerk

sometimes... but the take advantage of their customers like some time

of megalomaniac

Adire was building the drivers. Dan, and therefore Adire, was totally disrespectful to Feandil. Just because the Adire branding on the drivers wasn't there doesn't mean Adire is suddenly free of any responsibility towards Feandil and Ology Audio. They screwed up. They lied. They made false promises. I really don't find it fair to use this "It's a forum only for gear with Adire's logo on it, regardless if Adire is directly and solely responsible for the very existance of the product itself" as nothing more than a get out of jail free card.
