i wonder if these speakers are popular?

even if htey weren't (obviously they were)... does that excuse this behavior?

Adire was building the drivers. Dan, and therefore Adire, was totally disrespectful to Feandil. Just because the Adire branding on the drivers wasn't there doesn't mean Adire is suddenly free of any responsibility towards Feandil and Ology Audio. They screwed up. They lied. They made false promises. I really don't find it fair to use this "It's a forum only for gear with Adire's logo on it, regardless if Adire is directly and solely responsible for the very existance of the product itself" as nothing more than a get out of jail free card.

Posting on their forum isn't going to fix any of the business deal that happened.

I don't care if you don't find it 'fair' ALL the manufacturer's forums are that way. They are for the consumers to ask about product the manufacter sells.

If Ology wants their own forum then they can have it by jumping through the same hoops everyone else did.

In addition, you didn't read the contract you agreeded to when you posted in the Adire forum, might want to take a look at it again.

to be honest... when our SIN forum is up shortly I would NEVER promote closing something like that

you mess up and you need to face it... best way is to address it in person on the forum

IMO it's the same as warranty issues.... just between two businesses I am still a customer... I just happen to spend 100x what normal people would ever dream at adire

Well, I rechecked the thread I made. So far it had gotten somewhere. More or less excited for a thread in Adire's forum. Now it's gone. Deleted. But whatever. If ca.com is the laughingstock of the internet car audio world, at least I can make a quasi critical thread here and not get it deleted on site.

I absolutely agree with you, it seems as though they are trying to smother the message that Ravo was trying to get across.

I would not feel personally disgusted about the situation if Dan would have at least kept communication with ology audio during the build process. Blowing off your customers and repeatedly missing deadlines is not a way to run a business, nor is it a way to treat the people who are providing the lifeblood of your business, money.

Actually, thats funny that you mention that. I was talking with someone who is still waiting for his Brahama to be reconed. Its been 13 months, thats right 13 months. I find that simply disgusting.

i understand the breach of the agreement.

whats funny tho, if someone has a problem with the company (such as this incident here), and constantly try to contact the owner, or some representative, but the company does not respond, the customer has no choice BUT to make it public, just to get the attention of a rep.

To tell you the truth i'm just tired of hearing about it. The only thing that comes out of Matt's mouth is how mad he is at Dan and that he is not a businessman. He may still be a great designer / whatnot, but not taking care of what needs to be taken care of.

The more Ology gets d*cked over, the more I do. And I don't like getting d*cked over. So f*ck 'em really.

Honestly im taking it a bit personally as well, because I wanted to get some of these speakers for an install that I was going to do next week, but it seems I will have to choose something else.

It's called a moderation queue, people report the thread and it is hidden until a moderator checks it out. Standard vB procedure.

Nothing gets deleted there, things get moved to the Dirty Laundry.
