it has been a couple days.

I called dan this morning and I believe he shipped it out today... but I'm not 100% sure he was vague

whatever the case is... he's overnighting it to me... so at the latest friday I presume

it will be in mark K's hands saturday afternoon with FULL distortion tests, FR, impedence etc up Sunday!!

pics will come up Friday along with information on all the details

I wish I could 100% promise friday... All I know is he was putting the finishing touches on this morning... so to me that means today or tomorrow... he did say definitely shipped this week again this morning

we have and I don't particularly like it above the LPG silk dome or even aluminum dome...

it needs to be crossed around 3.5khz and would need to have grills manufactured which would increase pricing for something that admittedly doesn't really sound any better than the LPG (in fact in my opinion it sounds worse)

it was definitely considered along with the Peerless autosound tweeter, TB tweeter used in CDT's, etc.

we chose what we felt were the best canidates

i see you posted a few times in that thread.....looks pretty promising

also how would this driver do IB? hows the off axis response on this mid? say about 90-70 degress off axis....

90-70 degrees it'll fall off around 3.5khz or so

IB is quite good... very very very good
