new 2 car audio, new speakers required

Hi i have been thinking about my car audio setup for a while

I am after a jl audio 300/4 amp

A set of 6.5" components

Alpine head unit ida x 305

My car is a honda s 2000

So Ive basically come up with the components I have listed, I been trawling through posts and reviews and am pretty sure I want a set of focal speakers or that sound even tho I have never heard them

Reasons.. I have only been able to demo a set of hertz and audison I did not like the audison ones the hertz were better, what I am basically making my decision on is my headphones which have a V shaped sound signature with prominent highs and recessed mids.. even with that I usually emphasise treble

The comments of focal being clear but dominant in the treble area is why I've short listed them

I'm trying to decide between the 165kr and 165kr2 which in the UK retail at 247 kr2 and 217 kr

The first set have a slightly larger magnet and tweeters

I've never had good speakers and never even touched an amp so I'd be grateful for advice

Are the kr2 worth the 30 extra over the krs?

Max budget for the components is £250 which the focal 165kr2 fall within

if you like lots of highs see if you can get a set of VTEK earthquakes or MBquart discus or Pvi series

they all have extremely loud tweeeters that IMHO sound better and crisper than the warm sound of the Focals ( which are very nice but not bright sounding )

I've had to go with the focal.. those brands u linked are say $150 in the US but over here like 240£ just too expensive
