lol, the year we ran a dB Drags alongside Bob and Roo there was crazy rain and lightning everywhere. We had to end the Db Drags part early cause it got so bad, Jack said the lightning hit one of the light poles in the parking lot and we saw it hitting the trees around the field. That was in 2008. In 2009 it rained at one of the smaller shows I did there, and the bikini show happened but it was cloudy with a chance of rain and the field was so muddy from all the rain that Mike Travassos got his Explorer stuck in the field.

oh yeah!!! I remember that lol, that was a good show, bam you did the DB Drag/Bassrace and then no charging time you hit up the USAC style old school AC-180!!! I think everyone in the northeast has pix of Mike laying frame in the mud!

Just a heads up, we'll be raffling off three gift certificates for XS Power products. We'll have a $200, $100 and a $50 gift certificate. Tix will be $1 each, 7 for $5 15 for $10. Great if you plan to buy a battery, a VCM control unit, HO Alt, a battery charger or countless other items they sell.

This is NOT the show to miss if you live anywhere in the NorthEast, easily the biggest SPL Competition in New England year after year.
