neeed help with 0/4 gauge

im runnin a Memphis audio 1000.1 amp with 2 l7 solar baric 12's, i bridged the amp but i dont know if 4 gauge will be able to hold that kind of power while im bumpin?

You mean current? Should be ok with only 1000watts. Those subs are gonna want more power...

the amp can be briged out to run 1000 watts to each sub and i hooked up my other and and it lite my 8 gauge on fire at the amp cause it wanted to much power

you can bridge a 2 or 4 or 5 channel amp... you can not bridge 1 channel...

you can have 2-3-4-9-10 subs running off of 1 single channel if you want... but you can not bridge 1 channel to nothing...

Yeah it doesn't work that way. Your amp is internally wiring the two inputs together. Your subs will be sharing the 1000 watts, so about 500RMS each is what they'll see.

For wire, 4g would be fine. If you plan on upgrading or adding a 600+ RMS 4-channel, I'd go with 1/0.
