I tried their calc. and they recommended two 1800's IIRC, which ='s about 100lbs...

Thats too much, plus I have no good place to put them, and I dont want my cars *** end dragging on the street:crap:

Now heres what I have:

Big 3-0awg

200A alt

Yellow top front batt.

0awg to amps.

~3500w rms total system power.

Now, I only get SOME voltage drop on sustained bass notes.

Any ideas?

largest and most expensive, but u get what you pay for from what I've heard.

If you play with voltages maybe you can drop the amps and maybe get away with it, but thats risky and can be complicated, and might not even solve the problem. I would just buy stiffer shocks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

**** for 3500 wrms ill get like 2 2400's lol or 3 if possible but thats just me

im ma be runnin 2 d3100's on the trunk for my 2000 wrms //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

3800 is alot bigger than the 2400. the bulk of the work done battery wise will be done with what is in back. the front may help but its a good idea to run something that has a good capacity so you know it has juice stored. smallest i would go is a hc2000.

It just depends on how you plan to use it, but the reserve capacity in even the best batteries goes very quickly at those wattages. If your only occasionally hitting full power for a few notes, then you should be fine with one or two good batts. If you want extended time of high SPL, then those 2 or 3 batt's will drain quickly and you would want many more to pound high SPL all day.

100 pounds is nothing, go for it. Make 'em fit.
