need your help guys

ok so i'm having trouble getting the amp to turn on. here's what i've installed.

1. power wire ran from engine bay

2. ground ran from amp in trunk to scraped metal of trunk floor

3. loc (line output converter) never used one before

i think the remote is the source of my trouble. using a dmm how would i find if i have a good ground and or power and remote wire? thanks in advance for the help guys.

you answered it yourself, hook it up

if its hooked up and still no turn on then run a jumper wire from the positive terminal on the amp to the remote terminal and see if it turns on

yeah, i ran a dummy remote to the one in my TRUCK that works. still not turning on. but, wanted some outside input.
