Need wiring Help. - ORANGE lead to one side of the headlamp switch ?

I'm hooking up a scanner and it says I need to do the following: (this is a 07 accent)

"Connect the ORANGE lead to one side of the headlamp switch so that when

you activate the headlights, the scanner’s LCD display changes intensity. Be

sure all the connections are routed away from any potentially pinching or

slicing sheet metal.

how do I do this? do I just run a wire to the headlights on the fuse box?

sounds like you just need to catch an illumation wire. like a parking light wire or the ill. wire behind the radio.

if you pull out the headlight switch that wire is usualy orange witha brown marking. Its the headlight/parking lamps switch. It ask you to splice into that. I personly wouldnt splice into that. If you have an aftermarket radio splice into that harness, but do not cut up your factory.
