help with 5 channel amp. Kx700.5

So the specs of the amp are...

RMS Power (4 ohms) 70 watts x 4 chan. + 210 watts x 1 chan.

RMS Power (2 ohms) 85 watts x 4 chan. + 420 watts x 1 chan.

THE QUESTION:

Can I run my speakers at 4 ohms, but run my sub at 2 ohms?

I wanna have my speakers receive 70 watts each at 4 ohm and my sub to get the 420 watts at 2 ohms.

Can i do this? THANKS

the speakers determine the impedance...run 4 ohm mids and highes with a dual 4 vc sub set up you can do it (can be a dvc sub, 2 4 ohm svc subs.

yes you can run them at 4 and 2 ohms. just bridge the subwoofer channel if it doesnt have its own dedicated connection

yeah, you can do that. the 700.5 is essentially a KX300.4 and 400.1 in the same chassis.
