yo sup,

i am looking into getting a yellow top or a 2 Farad Capacitor... with my car they do not make yellow tops for it.. so i would half to alter my engine bay to get it to fit. but i can run a cap very easy. i am pushing about 1200 watts.. right now my system bumps like 2 times as hard with the engine off than when im driving around.... should i just get a cap or yellow top.. if i go with a yellow cap, can i just replace my stock battery w/ the yellow top in its place.... also do i really need to get a yellow top ro can i just get a regular battery... thanks....

how would i hook the yellow top up in the trunk... do i need to run power and ground wires.... thanks...
could i use 4g power wire that i have already run.. should i keep the inline fuse between the batteries or should i remove the fuse... would i ground the ground like an amp or would i run a ground wire from battery in engine bay to battery in trunk..... thanks

1... run 2 strands 1 postive 1 ground

2... run 1 postive from and ground it to place u ground ur amp now

fuse the postive yes and nah probally could use 4g but nah unless u must its ok....

i would do number 1 and i would do big 3 if u havnt already with 0g

ok u dont really need to run ground from ur hood to trunk

u can just ground to nice bolt under the trunk or frame ect

but just forget this and run a ground to the trunk anyways

Wait, am I missing something or is that not normal, regardless of what your electrical is like? Or is it because your car needs that much juice?

I would recommend an Optima or Kinetik. Best for when high amounts of power are being take out from it, and then recharging.

ya man they will last u long time just buy from some where they say money back guarantee... even if it does cost a lil more than a normal car battery u know

Make sure whatever you buy is sealed. Running two runs (+ and -) is preferred, however grounding in the trunk isn't bad either. When you install the second battery, make your connections directly to the battery terminals.

Make sure you have a fuse on both ends of the + wire.
