passenger side. behind the batt. you may even need to take the glovebox out.

didn't work, took battery and glovebox out....theres a bunch of a/c shit in the way behind the glovebox and can't even get my hand close to the firewall from the inside...underneath the batt doesent do much either i took a bracket it was sitting on off and theres a little hole that gets down further but i don't see how to get a wire through there....help? advice?? lol thx.

it will work, under the battery there is a rubber gasket that you move or push through.

or that big plastic box under the hood on the drivers side near the firewall open it up then there is a clear shot under the dash o ther is another small hole around the same area. Just take off the bottom panel under the steering wheel.. i have a B5 passat and they are almost the same exact car

Under the battery there is a rubber grommet slide the wire through there and if you want to do it an even easier way. take a coat hanger break it make it as straight as you can tape the wire to the end of the hanger tightly with the tape and feed it through the grommet then once it's in the car just take off the hanger and your 4 awg is ran.

I saw the grommet but couldn't figure out where it conceivbly lead to. Looked like it just went to underneath the battery holder...anyways i found another way in...around the firewall near that rain collection bin. you go along the inside of the door behind the hinges...works for me. Then when we got everything hooked up it didn't work...apparently he forgot to told me his amps might be broke because they didn't work before he tried to put them in this car...
