Is this a no no or can i get away with it?

Im trying to wire up my xx-herc to both my Type-R's at 1 ohm. Issue im having is i am running 8 guage wire for speaker wire, and i cant cram two 8 guages into one terminal on the amplifier, but im pretty confident i can get two into a terminal on the subs, but not three. Here is a diagram of what i (am hoping) will do, but want to make sure its not gonna screw anything up/not be at 1 ohm/ just not work at all.

Only the positive is shown, but the same would be done with the negative.

If the subs are dual 4, then that's right.

I just use 12 gauge for sub to sub connections and 8 gauge for longer runs. I usually use only 12 though except in my CRX.

well, if i can get away with this, i already have 8 guage wire here, and dont wanna go buy more if i dont need to
