Need to pick new HU

I need to know if this is as good as the kenwood man. Features are good, but I also want the features to be worth it in quality.

Some brands are better than others, and I never researched JVC

I've used Kenwood, Pioneer, and JVC HU's and have never had a problem or a complaint about any of them. That's just me, though. You're subjective interpretation could, and probably will, be different.

700BT if you want to use a compatible cell phone hands free.

AR8500 for the sweet feature set. *eyes the 9-band PEQ*

The cell phone options is not important.

I'm mostly looking for BEST sound quality, best sound processing, best compression, best crossovers, best control of sub level and speaker tweaks, easy to use with a great screen, HD radio ready, ipod ready, motorized, 24bit digital-to-analog, highest freq response and signal to noise ratio.... out of those models

I'd go for the JVC HU and the KAC-X20 amp for those comps. Great choice on the comps, btw!

It's rated for 2x180w rms @ 4 Ohms. You can set the gains so it provides 2x100-150w rms, and you'll have some overhead.

Yep, the eXceleon amps are rock solid and have gotten great reviews. The Hifonics amps are a little overrated (they won't do rated RMS power, but close).

Great choice on the HU. For the features Vs. price, I don't think you could do better unless you peruse the used section.

I would agree with this 100%. The 880PRS and 800PRS are sweet SQ HU's. usually quite a bit of them floating around the for sale section.

I have a Kenwood x890 and I love it mainly for the USB controls. I have a 4GB flash drive hooked up to it with a bunch of music.

I switched from an Alpine 9855 to get this Kenwood. That 990 looks awesome!

Well just to let you know, i purchased the JVC HU... has a great EQ and rock solid reviews.

I wasn't really worried about the small price difference, since I am saving by buying the cheaper amp.
