Need to pick new HU

but I was contacted and told that they are no longer in stock. Can you guys please tell me if this is definitely a better version?

The KAC-X990 is yes going to be a better unit than the KAC-X891. It will come from the model year previous to it (ergo the 990 is an older unit than the 891) but it's more full-featured.

its one step up from the one you purchased before, but i would recommend Alpine or a high end Pioneer before kenwood

kenwood's higher end units such as the 891 and 991 are solid as hell and I have owned many different head units over the years.

sadly, the 991 is over 120 dollars more than the 990, which is way past my limit

i'm so sick of changing out my orders. Can't they just keep the shit in stock for more than 1 day? lol

if you can see from the list, I'd like one no lower than the 890... problem is, the website is out of almost every kenwood HU

i need to find a different place to buy from with close to the same price

I guess I just really want a HU that is the same quality as the kenwood 891

I don't know if any of you can relate to my issue. Maybe there is a site that sells the 891 for the same price or so. I just don't know which place to trust.
