Need to know hot hook up a 4 gauge amp wire to a top post battery

i don't know if you might be able to help on something else..do you know what web site i can go to for some rim's for my 95 dodge caravan i have 14" on them now but like to go up to 17" or 18" the bolt pattern is 5x100 if not that's cool just can't find any websites for rim's for my van thank's

Capacitor's are not completely worthless. If you already have it and can't take it back then use it. It will help eliminate noise from your system and they do smooth out extremely fast power fluctuations.

The problem is that they are not to be used to replace weak electrical systems. They will slightly increase the load on your electrical system! As the guys above pointed out, if you are experiencing fllickering lights or low voltage you need to spend your money on another battery or a bigger alternator.

As far as your top post battery terminal just go buy something like the above user posted or the one I linked below and solder some nice ring terminals on your factory electrical to make everything fit nice and look much better for cheap.

try tirerack, they even provide the ability to view the rims on your vehicle.

You paid $150 for that wiring kit?! >.

Yea, the cap is a waste of space, sell it on craigslist for like $50 or something. A lot of people have been misinformed to believe they help your electrical system, which they do not. And many shops spread this misinformation to make easy money. What WILL help you electrical system from dimming and voltage drops, is the simple big 3 upgrade.

As for connecting the wires, I'd throw a ring terminal on the end, and attach it under the nut. Or buy new terminals as suggested a few posts ago.
