Need to know hot hook up a 4 gauge amp wire to a top post battery

i have a complete amp kit...has everything paid $150 for the kit,,the question i have a regular top post battery how do i go about hooking up my power wire to it if it only has top post as far as my adapters that came with my kit,,,please help i don't want to screw anything up..i used a side and top post...any suggestion i appreciated it thank's

you take the bolt off of the battery terminal and put ring terminal through bolt and reinstall bolts and tight battery clamp down

your car might have a second post somewhere as most do...you could use that

does the wire not have a ring terminal crimped onto it ?

buy a new battery terminal - toss the cap in nearest trashcan, total waste of money.

Get terminals with the wing nuts.

Yes the capacitor that some store lied to you about in order to get your hard earned money.

They are a joke and do nothing to help your system.

Go to the autoparts store and get a "Heavy Duty - Truck Style" battery terminal.

You will cut your old one off, strip the end of your factory battery wires, and stick them under the clamp. There are 2 bolts on top that you tighten down.

Real easy.

Thank's for the help..help's out alot...so then i though the capacitor help's from draing your batter and flickering of the light's..Wonder why everybody got's one the...i appreciated it
