Hello...I am looking for subwoofers, and I want them to be as loud as possible. I am thinking about competing in spl competitions. Any suggestions? I am willing to go 15" or 12" so thats not an issue, id do 3 12"s or 2 15"'s. As for my budget. Id be willing to spend $800-1000. u can get bullshit subs and hit high numbers..but its all in the install

but to point u in the right direction

u can use 2 btl 15's but only if u have atleast 4k watts per sub

and as far as a box...do a wall..either a ported wall or if u know wat your doing(considering the kind of thread this is...i doubt it) bandpass wall

you dont have any idea what you are getting yourself into man, do some research. You will need many feet of 1ga. wire in most cases that people are competing for going to pure SPL. You will need multiple battery's and possible alternators, deffinatly will have to upgrade your alternator. Will have to run the "Big 3". Build or find someone to build a box that is properly fitted and tuned. Get 1 12" kicker L7 and 1 kicker zx750.1. with 1 run of 4ga. That will be plenty until you fully understand what it takes to compete at the level with 2000rms+. Please it will be very wise.

everyone should talk to kicker06 aswell. When he was trying to do a "trade" with me, he said he was his ref. I spoke to kicker06 about it and he said he was a good guy. So maybe one should question him about it aswell..
