Need system for sister

So my sister tells me today she wants a system for her birthday, but it has to be girls (i.e. lots of pink/flashing lights/etc etc). So what you guys got in mind?

Im trying to keep this on a budget cause in all honesty she won't know what she's running, and just want something better than a tape adapter for her ipod and she wants a pink box.

So here's a list of what i've compiled so far:

wiring: scosche kit form wal mart------------$25

Box: built by me, materials--------------------$30-40

sub-------------------------------------------------$70 shipped (have an E8 that I MIGHT let her use)

amp------------------------------------------------$50 shipped, will be a profile more than likely

Headunit------------------------------------------$150ish shipped, MUST HAVE PINK DISPLAY AND IPOD HOOK UP (this is probably the most important part to her.

My plans so far are to let her run the stock door speakers off the h/u, add a pink box and pink h/u, I might wire up some led's in her speaker grill or something like that. Let me know if you guys have any other reasonable ideas guys, thanks in advance!

Edit: Just realized that this was not the classified section.

There is a lot of cheap stuff that can do pretty amazing things. I use that cheap Insignia 300W setup that was sold at Best Buy for $80 in my room, and it's fun to mess with. do they make any hu's with a pink display? I think the choice of amp and sub combo will work well though. paint the white on the sub pink though.

alpine 9855 you can change it to pink, purple, blue, green, whatever you want.

I've seen them before, iirc it was a sony but I don't know any model numbers. I'm thinking about taking the amp apart and sand blasting the blue off (profile) and doing it in pink maybe, if it doesn't work oh well it's $40, but it'd be a nice touch.

I don't know if you mean the face plate or not. xD

El Reno. No big car fanatics here, kind of disappointing. The local FX just loads them up with 12" CVRs and claims it's the best around, while trying to sell a L7 10" for $300.

I'll keep a look out for pink headunits. I don't really want to sell my room subs, though I havn't listened to them in a while.

sorry man, she's the oldest (of the sisters) and is a pretty good kid. Bought her first car when she was 14 with her own money and her original mom is a screw up who really messed her up emotionally and she never missed a beat. She moved in with my parents and finally has stuff going her way so this is kind of an "icing on the cake" now that she finally has a decent car (parents bought her an 03-05 (I forget) alero)
