I love lamp.
So my desktop is pretty outdated (4-5 years) and im lookin to upgrade. Im wanting a laptop, I'll use it for surfin the internet, downloading music and the occassional paper/homework assignment. I don't game, I don't create/edit movies/music etc etc so I don't need a lot of computer. Just something basic that won't crap out on me.
So far i've noticed that the budget brands seem to be acer, lower end hp's, and toshiba. Are these reliable brands? Im not too compuer savvy but I have a general idea on what I want:
1. cd/dvd burner
2. media card slots (for digi cam)
3. at least 120gb hard drive
4. 1gb of RAM
5. 14-15" screen size (wouldn't mind a bigger one but bigger=more $$)
My budget is the less the better lol, a max of $600. I know that's pretty cheap but like I said, I don't need a lot of computer. Thanks in advance!
