Dont you just love the people that get on a site like this and swear that they know any possible outcome of a combination of equipment? Or they want a detailed explination because they swear they already know the answer.:swordfigh

how big is your box? i have the Exact same setup, im very happy with it and it gets pretty darn loud. im thinking about another amp in the spring..but i think i might be set with what i got.

try a new box, remember, the bigger the box, the less power you need to get loud. i built mine as big as my trunk would let me.

or try a new amp, find something that'll do ~1800-2000 watts RMS. i bet that'd get nice and loud for you:up2somet:

2decent 12's would normally beat out one 15 depending on the box

one 15 out doing 2 12's...that 15 must move aloooot of air to out due 2 decent 12's that move air as well

The XXX15 in the right enclosure with the right power will be louder than the L7's. When i had my XXX15 in 4.5cuft @ 35Hz me and my buddy(2 L7 15's with an orion 2500d in a 8cuft box tuned to 35) compared each other he was a lil bit louder than me but i moved more air and wasnt that much away from him. I would do the XXX15 and put it in 4.5cuft and tune to 35hz and give it 2000w and i would bet you that it will get louder.
