well i just went from running 2 15in. l7's on a 2006d hifonics and a stock headunit

and got the pioneer.

but all the settings confuse the shit outta me any tips on what to set it on and what not.

Do not use the loudness setting, use the SLA boost if necessary. Loudness may sound good on lower volumes, but there should be no difference when cranked with it on or off, so leave it off, it is known to add distortion.

Thats about all..have fun with the HU and play with the EQ lots to find what u like.
