The key is to have a clean, bare-metal, non-painted, non-insulated by plastic/underbody treatment etc point. It doesn't really matter where that is, it can be 6" or 6'. Seatbelts are fine as long as you can get a solid conection of clean metal.

So just go with seat belt?....This is for a Batterie not a amp. I will be grounding amps on the batterie.

Batteries that are not both at the same grounding point will cause a strain on the charging system.

Just run a long #4 0r #2 too the rear off the front battery. Then install a 3/8"x 1.5" bolt with the first nut. I used Stainless cause its outside under the Car. Install your wiring then add a washer then a second nut.

I did assume you were going to charge this of the alt.
