Need some suggestions?

OK, i just went and bought 2 12" Kicker Comps. I am planning on building a custom box and was wondering on which way i should face the subs? I have an extended cab pickup and everyone i talked to told me to face them up, is this the best way?

Also, does anyone know what size amp i should buy to power these subs, they are 8ohms, and can handle 150watts rms and 300watts max.?

Also, my one friend gave me an idea to put a 10" sub facing down in the middle of the box. Would this make it sound any louder? thanx.

Up will work. as for the 10" it's up to you. You could parallel your 8 Ohm subs to make them 4 Ohm then parallel them with your 10" (If it's four ohm) and run a two ohm load.

As for how much power, put at least the I would not go below the 150 RMS range
