Need some suggestions (upgrading)

Here is the deal, I just about have two of my student loans paid off and my insurance note is about to drop $250 a month. So I am going to have a few hundred extra a month to play around with. I want to build myself a better system. My budget is going to be $1500 and not a penny more. This includes pretty much everything. Im not going to do everything at once. Im just going to buy something, and swap it out with whatever is in my truck. I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado single cab. I just bought 100sq ft of Fat Mat and am soon going to do that. The "Big 3" is also in the near future. Me and a friend are going to build a fiberglass center console to house two twelves (maybe three tens). The box will be sealed bc I dont know enough about ported boxes, and I dont want to try to wing it. Fiberglass isnt cheap!!! I currently have this in my truck...

Alpine 9881 (paid $80)

Hifonics Atlas 6.5" comps in front doors (came in truck)

Planet Audio RXD1000 (came in truck)

2 Kicker CVR 12d4 behind rear seats (paid $150)

Anyway, yall know more about whats out there than me, so I would appreciate it if yall would give me some suggestions on the system you would build with that budget and that truck. My goal is SQL (if there really is such a thing). Here is a list of what is to be replaced.

Well, since nobody replied, what do yall think of this?

Head Unit - Premier DEH-P800PRS ($379.00 shipped)

Front stage - CDT EF-61cf ($250 shipped)

Front stage amp - Planet Audio ZR-300.2 ($58.00 shipped)

Subs - 3 RE SE10d2s wired at 1.34 ohms ($420 shipped)

Sub amp - Hifonics BXI2008D Brutus 2000w rms at 1ohm ($289 shipped)

Kicker PKD1 Dual amp power kit ($105 shipped)

The most important thing in a HU is the Pre-Out Voltage and the Equalizer.

I'm not sure how good the EQ is on the 9881, but odds are you can keep it and just spend that money on better equipment. Not saying that equipment is bad... just saying that's more money.

The preouts are only 2v on the 9881 while the premier are 5v.

The subs are 600w rms and the amp puts out 2000w at 1ohm. Thats 666 watts if the subs would be wired at 1ohm. The load is actually going to be 1.3x ohms.

Seems like a lot for the HU and subs you could easily go with.

Use same HU and get the AQ2200 for $389

then maybe some Fi Q's or SSA icons 2 10"with 1k each. $500 that amp and those subs is only 180 more so you can spend the rest of what you save on ported box plans and MDF, or have someone build it for you.

I cant belive that you are scared to pay $10 for amazing ported box specs from someone on here versus trying to fiberglass your center console - which is about 500 times the work of buildign a good ported box, just make it down firing and put some cup holder on the top of the box, MDF
