Need some suggestions on kickers

im thinking about buying 2 kicker 12" CVR 124. guy at the audio store said that the

12" CVX's would sound alot better for the amp that i have.

my question is, are the CVX's worth spending the extra money, or should i just stay

within the price range for the CVR's?
