Need some simple Photoshop help

yeah... did he send you a file or did you have to copy it from the forum?
if you copied it from the forum that ***** cause it looks grainy on the edges now. He needs to send the original file and it needs to be treated as a smart object.
Only pic he had was the one in the OP which is a jpg and whoever saved it didn't use a very high quality cause it has loads of artifacts (probably saved it as like 80% rather than 100%).

Only way of taking out those artifacts is reducing the noise but then that makes the edges blury

you changed it into bitmap:(
why do these PS noobs use beveling and emboss all the time. it looks like crap... I will make a better one in 10 minutes.
Whatever works. I dont know much about PS so this is all giberish to me.

One question before i get started...
What type of work do you do with pc's?

Hardware, virus removal, programming, engineering, architect...?
if you are talking to me, a little bit of everything.

No idea. Wanting to use this with something other than a white background.

you should really keep this going. Not only do you have some advanced PS knowledge but you have talent. There are tons of people who have the tools but cant seem to let lose.

I have taught myself for the last 5 years and am just now going to go to school to get the paper and learn a few rules of design:)
