I added a cap to my existing setup and for some reason I then had a TON of altenator whine. I took the cap out, put every single wire back the way it was originally and still have the whine. During the cap install I blew my inline 100amp fuse by the battery.
I opened up the amp that runs my 4 door speakers (Crunch Powerzone 1400) to see if maybe one of the little capacitors in there blew or something, and visually cant find anything wrong.
Can anyone think of what possibly could have happened? The only thing I can think of is when the fuse blew (I think I may have touched the positive wire to a ground somewhere, dont really remember) it caused something else to blow and thus is giving me this insane whine. Any help would be appreciated>
