need some help with saz1500's and my setup.

right now im running 1 15" fi btl off a saz1500d at .5 ohms. im thinking about buying another saz1500. if i do buy a second amp i may switch to a fi btl 18" but the 18 is dual 2. are the sundowns strappable? how would i set up the system if i had 2 saz1500 and the 18 dual 2?

what do you guys think i should do? stick w/ the 15 and possibly get another so i run 1 amp 1 sub? or get the 18?

if you get a btl 18 get it in dual 1ohm coil.

with dual 1ohm coils wire them up in series for a 2ohm load for strapped 1500ds.

if you go below the 2ohm mark on the 1500ds then you are voiding your warrenty. though you might already be with your 1 1500d on that 15 pending on when you got the amp.

i am in consideration of getting a 15d1 btl as i have 2 1500d's.

are you considering a used 18d2?

if you get it and run them strapped at a load of 1ohm each amp will be seeing a .5ohm load(i believe). iirc not really recommended for daily and you'd better have the electrical for it.

yeah its used. ok so i guess ill stick w/ the 15 and 2 saz. and yeah im looking for a ho alt for my truck. its not easy finding a good one
