i want it to get stinking loud, but keep a decently flat response. its going in the back of a 4 door explorer, so i've got plenty of room to play with.

looks like i need it to be 41 inches wide and 18 inches tall.

could someone explain to be how port area relates to tuning and overall sound? thats the biggest part i dont understand, is the port area. wasnt too hard with the firebirds box, since i used aeroports, but i've never done a slot port.
