Need some box help (again)

ok so i think im gonna build another box just for the heck of it to try new things. this time with 1 8.5in port but i need to know where i can mount my subs this is just a lil MS paint to give you an idea of what im gonna build. The Red will be the port but my question is it ok to mount one sub next to the port and the other eighter on the top or side of the box. i dont have enough space to mount the subs side by side anywhere on the box.

You could do one firing up, one firing back. You might have some cancellation issues, but if you must do it then you must do it...
