Need Some Advice!

I dont know of my electrical is suffient enough to push my (soon to be here) Mag and speakers. I called a honda dealership and they didnt really know how many amps my alt puts out, they should know its a fricken new car, but they said anywhere from 85-105 amps. Is this enough for 800-1100W for the Mag and about 500W for the speakers??

Should I upgrade the alt? I plan on doing the big 3 and getting a yellowtop, I just dont want any dimming action happening.

The only real way to tell is to install it and find out.

Some people have no issues running 1500watts on a 90a alternator. I had a preoblem running 900rms on a 105a alt and decided to upgrade.

Install, and you will find out quick if you have a problem. Sorry we really cant help you out more then that.

90a alt and 1500w sucks up the alternator juice in a hurry but the yellow top takes over soon enough and I rarely drop below 12.1 at the amp terminals.

As Jntar said, every vehicle is different so install and see if you will need a new battery or alternator.

I agree, just gotta try it, I just wanted to see if anybody knew, but I guess there are to many variables involved. Thanks for input fellas.

Look on the alternator itself. Jap cars always have the manufacturers specs on their alternators on some form of sticker.

You should have talked to the parts dept. They have specs on everything.
