Need some advice on how to get a job at Best Buy.

Hi I'm new here at CarAudio.com and I am convinced that there are a lot of experienced technicians here and I just wanted some advice on how to get my career started in this field. I am MECP Certified(Basic but expired - will renew) and I've been focusing on getting employed by Best Buy. I've took their application test about 100 times(literally), I do not have much experience. I've done a few radio, speaker, alarm installations for friends and family and I've done remote starters before. I am looking to gain more experience working with best buy. I want to start getting comfortable working with new cars(not being afraid of breaking anything).

If there is anyone who can give me any advice on how I should start my career with Best Buy or how to even get a job at Best Buy it would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

With things like that everytime there's an opening the guy who works there has a friend/buddy/cousin/brother that will most likey get the job first through a reference get to know some there and see if that gets you in.

j/k

ind out who the manager of the car audio department is, approach him in person and tell him you have a real interest in making this your career and you'd like to do it with BB. Im sure the manager gets a lot of applications, but very few people with the drive, ambition and hunger to approach him/her personally.
